About the teacher

Amber has dedicated 24 years as an educator, driven by a lifelong dream of teaching that began in kindergarten. She holds a Bachelor’s in Child and Adolescent Studies from California State University Fullerton and a Master’s in Education from the University of La Verne.

After starting her career as a 2nd grade teacher in Pomona Unified in 2001, she joined the Duarte Unified School District in 2005, where she has taught grades 2nd through 5th and currently teaches 3rd grade at Beardslee Academy.

Passionate about fostering a love for lifelong learning, Amber creates a safe, supportive classroom environment and tailors her teaching to meet the unique needs of each student. She is committed to helping students discover their strengths while continuing to inspire their love for learning.
