About the teacher

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Cal State Fullerton. I also graduated with my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University.  I have taught in Duarte Unified since 2011 in 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th Grade and Middle School (6th and 7th Math and Science).

I am married to my husband, Geoff, and together we have two children (who also attend Beardslee), Camryn and Connor.  We are very into drag racing, with my husband driving a nostalgia funny car and my son driving a junior dragster.
